Learn how to defend yourself against the most common attacks seen on the street..
In the mid-1930s while protecting his Jewish neighborhood from racist gangs, Imi realized that the things he was learning in his sports - boxing, wrestling, and gymnastics - were vastly different when he needed to use them on the street. He began developing a self-defense system that focused on a person's natural body reactions to an attack. After moving to Mandatory Palestine, Imi began to train fighters in the Haganah, the forerunner of the Israeli Defense Forces. After the creation of the State of Israel, Imi continued to develop Krav Maga for the military. Because the military was all ages, he had develop a system that worked for old and young, male and female. Imi refined Krav Maga his entire life, working to make it available to all people. The International Krav Maga Federation continues that work, training with fighters and civilians around the world to test and refine every technique we use to keep ourselves safe.
